I'm so pissed. I haven't played it for a few months, i tried charging it, the red light comes on but it won't turn on. then i bought a new battery and the sam thing happens.
anyone know how to fix it or who can fix it?

Send it in to be replaced. It sounds like it's an internal failure. Unless it's still under warranty, take it back to the place that you bought it.

When you plugged it in to charge it, did you let it sit over night, or 4 hours or so, then try turning it on, or did you immediately turn it on thinking it would run off the power plug? This happened with an SP of mine. Worked after letting it charge for awhile. Apparently the system doesn't run off the wall current, just the battery. Let us know if it works, if this is the case, as it was with my SP.

Hope that's the case with your DS.

Sorry to hear that. :( I guess its time to contact Nintendo for service.

If I may ask, any particular reason you decided to pick up and play it again, after letting it sit for so long?

i had nintendo send me a packing slip thing to send it in.
I wanted to pick back up playing FFIII.

I'm still stuck on FFII... all leveled up, maxed out, but stuck... then Pokemon Diamond/Pearl came out... *sigh*, not enough time in the day.

Good luck, hope its not too much to fix.

i need to but origins, anthology, 7, and 9, and actuall BUY 10-2 instead of borrow it. oh and tactics.

Do you have a DS Fat or a Lite? If you have the original one, may I suggest you upgrade to the Lite. Your eyes will love you for it.

Your DS going kapoot might be a sign. ;)
