Auctions that are dimmed on the auction listing screen are for items you already own, and therefore cannot bid on.
If an item has a red background across the information for that auction, it is your auction and therefore you cannot bid on it.
If items have a green background across the information for that auction, they are items you have placed bids on.
If an item has a red background across the information for that auction, it is your auction and therefore you cannot bid on it.
If items have a green background across the information for that auction, they are items you have placed bids on.
