so i bid on an item, and get the first bid in. later, it shows that there's been a higher bid, and it has ended. So I battle a few times, and then bid on another item like it, and it THEN takes my EP and gives me the item. Is there any possible way I can take off my bid on the other item, as I don't need another one, or have the points for it...

ur bid is invalid if u already have the item, they already thought of people getting duplicate items this way, so if u get the item u bid on from another prize code before the auction ends, ur bid doesnt count anymore

And, the other bid could have been lower than or equal to yours-if it was equal, the first bidder of that amount when it is the highest amount is the winner. The auction takes about 5 minutes to process after it is closed, so that's why you would have noticed a delay. Once the auction is completely removed from the Player Market screen, after just being dimmed/darkened and saying "closed", that is when the item transaction takes placed.

Another possibility is that the other bid was higher than yours, but the high bidder no longer had the EP to win it.

Also, in case of a tied bid, things go to the earlier person, so if you are the first bidder, you should never assume you won't win the item.

You can put a minimum bid on an item with a bid already in case the person doesn't have EP or got the item in the meantime.
