Can not auction Yew Short Bow

I had a Yew Short Bow (http://everwars.com/ewitem.x?itemid=1378) up for auction and it had 1 bidder. When the auction ended the item was returned to my inventory. Now that it is back in my inventory it has no Add Auction selection, only the Sell Item selectiion appears for this item.

did you get the money? Are all your auction slots full currently?

They probably didn't have the $$ to pay for their bid.

Some other scenarios :

*Yours was the later finishing of the same item and they won their previous one (yours being a backup bid).
*The bidder bought the same item in the shop first

Thanks for your input Jonka, Hippo & Crep, I am aware of these scenarios and have had items not sell when they had a bidder in the past but I have always been able to put them back up on the market. The bug is that this time I can not not put it back on the market because it does not have an Add Auction selection, only a Sell Item selection on the inventory page. I have kept one auction slot open so that is not the problem.

An interesting part of this bug is that my player details says I have 15/16 auction slots full when there is actually only 14 items in my auction. This is a constant, I have been watching this since yesterday afternoon and no matter haw many items are in my auction the player details carries one more than is really in there. I have not tried putting a fifteenth item up to reach 16/16 but I will try it next time I have two items expiring close to each other to test it out.

I was able to put 16 items up on the players market and my auction slots read 17/16.

i had this happen a while ago (without quite so many auction slots) and it ended fixing itself by the next time i logged on, i think what i ended up doing is clicking sell item but not selling and then going back to my items and i could now auction it. i dont really remember though so that may not be how i fixed it.

anyway: could this bug be the cause of some1 trying to get an item without actually paying for it?

I tried your solution, I clicked on Sell Item and than cancel but it still is not showing the Add Auction option.

I think I see the problem here.... you damaged that weapon didnt you?

My theory is that you snapped the bow in half last time you used it and...well....like you see on ebay sometimes...the picture doesnt exactly resemble the actual weapon you are trying to auction....

and the devs, in their infinite wisdom, are protecting us from scoundrels like you who are trying to pawn off damaged goods on an unsuspecting buyer ...

was there ever a solution to this problem? I know I was in mage helmet limbo for a couple of weeks a while back..had 2 of them and couldnt auction any of them...a different bug but still a pain in its own right :mad:

It is part of the rankings update display problem that happens, or can happen, if someone was battling at the time of the updates. It drastically changes your rank, and can affect any auctions you have and some of the information on the auctions pages. Usually this is "fixed" by the next rankings update.

This problem is still occuring and has not changed since November. I still can not put the Yew Short Bow in my inventory up for auction and my auction slots are still off by one. I actually have nothing at all up for auction at the moment but it shows 1/17 for auction slots.
