I believe that the time has come to revisit the stats in EverWars. The first thing I am planning to do is merge dexterity and intellect into a new single stat called OFFENSE and merge agility and resists into a new stat called DEFENSE. They will continue to work as they do now with offense increasing your chance to hit and defense decreasing the chance you will be hit.
What other ways do you think stats can be improved?

Does this also mean we are going to receive a bump in stats again?? Or is this simply an integration plan? just curious

Haven't mentioned anything about stat caps or values changing. Simply talking about the stats themselves and their purpose and integration.

Agility becomes Defense ..
Intellect becomes Offense ..

Sorry just had to get that question out of the way I dont have a problem with the merging of dex int and agi resist stats. As far as a useful suggestion for stats im not sure. I would like to see a tweak to making all the stats more effective other than criticals and possibly stamina which seem to work just fine as they are

Seems like that would rob the game of some of its strategic value, especially if there are going to be hybrids.

At this point, no changes are ever going to be made because not a single change seems to be wanted. Apparently, EverWars is perfect as is.

ok, trying the other way round:
while every fantasy game i know that's dealing with stats uses different sets of stats, at least for fighters and casters, why would you like to merge them? what's the benefit? the idea behind it?

Honestly, I was simply trying to make the game a little easier to understand, especially by newer players. I know that many players have different items they equip depending on whether they are fighting magic or melee so I felt it would make their lives easier by removing that need.
However, it really has become obvious that the majority of players do not want any changes and that it will take so long to get everyone's approval that the best course of action is to focus on adding a few new things rather than making any changes.
So this and other changes are no longer being considered.
