Rather than using EP as currency, you could create currency, say gold. Then you could trade your EP 1 for 1 for gold the same way you can do so for SP.

Why? Because you could then add gold as something you could win in battle. Say upwards of 25 gold pieces. This would encourage use of the shop because gold could only be used to buy things. Also, when you sell back an unwanted weapon, it would also get you gold rather than EP.

Just another thing to discourage farming.

hahaha, you should have been here before the last big update. we got gold as prizes and for selling stuff and battle credits came over time.

We specifically moved away from gold and to EP's as an all-encompassing currency. This was done for a variety of reasons, the most important one being because we wanted to :D.
